Ankaferd Spray

ABS SPREY 5 ml.

Unit Formula: 5 ml product contains; Urtica dioica (dried root extract) 0.3 mg, Vitis vinifera (dried leaf extract) 0.4 mg, Glycrrhiza glabra (dried leaf extract) 0.45 mg, Alpinia officinarum (dried leaf extract) 0.35 mg, Thymus vulgaris (dried grass extract) 0.25 mg.

Medical Properties

Ankaferd BloodStopper, a hemorrhage stopping preparation, forms a network inside plazma or serum in a very short time. General haemostatic and biochemical tests have shown that the mentioned network is formed via the interaction between Ankaferd BloodStopper and proteins in blood; but primarily via the product’s interaction with fibrinogen. The process of stopping hemorrhage is primarily related with protein agglutination. Blood cells too take their part in the network. Independent of the physiological haemostatic process tissue factor related to blood coagulation, Ankaferd BloodStopper, developes without effecting this system. Therefore Ankaferd BloodStopper is not only effective on patients with normal haemostatic values, but also on those who are primary and secondary homestaz defective.

Ankaferd BloodStopper can be employed as an aide product in clinique procedures for stopping intensive external hemorrhaging, including mucous fissures. Ankaferd BloodStopper must not be injected into vein or blood circulation system.

Can be used safely by hemophilia, diabetes mellitus ve hypertension patients. Areas of Use: Ankaferd BloodStopper is employed as a hemorrhage stopper in cases of external wounding and traumatic cuts until bleeding stops.

Apply Ankaferd BloodStopper directly on bleeding area from a distance of 5 to 10 cm. Apply Ankaferd BloodStopper until it shows effect and stops bleeding and see your closest health centre. Can also be used after surgical procedures via absorbing in tampon. Cautions/Precautions: Please carefully read prescribing instructions before use. Inform your doctor and pharmacy without fail if taking any medication. Stops external bleeding, has no known side effects, does not cause irritation, is non-toxic, sterile and does not contain alcohol. Conditions where it should not be used: None.

Drug Interaction and Other Interactions

  • Ankaferd BloodStopper has no known adverse interaction with drugs used by patients.
  • It is hypoallergenic.
    • Administration and Dosage: According to density of bleeding Ankaferd BloodStopper should be employed in cases of external wounding and traumatic cuts until bleeding stops. If bleeding recommences, product should be applied until bleeding stops. This procedure is repeated 2-3 times until bleeding stops. Commercial Presentation Form: Ankaferd BloodStopper, commercial presentation: Product supplied as spray in 5 ml-10 ml-25 ml-50 ml and 100 ml packagings.
