Ankaferd BloodStopper applications for
the control of developing hemorrhages in dental procedures

Application Use a sterile plastic syringe to spray product on hemorrhaging area following surgical operation. The force of the first spray and the total surface of the tissue damaged hemorrhagic zone covered by this first spray is very important because it will determine the quality of the network. If the hemorrhagic zone is too extensive to be covered in one spray, repeat procedure to cover all. With the network it forms through spaying on hemorrhaging areas, ABS achieves vital erythrocyte aggregation and physiological hemostasis regulation, thus keeping hemorrhaging under control. Spraying the same area repeatedly aften a first effective spray, may have a negative effect on the physiological network. Therefore when it is necessary to spray the same area again, do so 30-40 seconds later in order to allow the first spray to show effect. If the force and extension of the first spray is thought not to be effective, a second dose may be applied with the help of a needle removed sterile plastic syringe. Applications have no known side effect. Nevertheless repeated spraying during teeth whitening procedures may cause discolorations of no pathological importance due to interaction between the product’s vegetal content and the chemicals used in the procedure. Therefore when only a teeth whitening procedure is to be performed and uncontrolled hemorrhaging is not expected, standard blood stopping methods may be preferred. Areas of Use in Dental Procedures * Complicated or normal tooth extraction operations * Hemorrhaging following a crown pulpa amputation performed on milk teeth * Bleeding of the gums following scaling and curettage procedures * Following gum flap operations * Hemorrhaging during and after implant procedures 6- Use with confidence on dental diseases with systemic medical problems and - under the consultation of the branch of medicine related - for hemorrhage control during local dental procedures concerning teeth and gum diseases carrying hemorrhagic complication risks.
